چکیده
Aim. The purpose of the study is to reveal cognitive potential and limitations causal analysis in historical pedagogical research consider alternative methods explaining facts. Methods. Methodological significance for were principles historicism, objectivity, historiographical tradition, taking into account totality To implement goal a set theoretical was used: analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalisation, systematisation scientific positions, historical-genetic, historical-comparative, actualisation problem. Results. essence causality as one most important forms interconnection interdependence phenomena processes being, expressing special genetic relationship between them, reveals specificity functional stochastic (random) causality. Historical determinism characterised: classical (linear), non-classical (non-linear) neoclassical (fractal). Conclusion. search monocausal determination seems unproductive. get more complete reliable picture cause-effect relations should be complemented by teleological which will make it possible find out not only why, but also what certain actions carried out. Only this case provide objective explanations interpretations, adequacy understanding facts, ideas meanings past experience, help solve contemporary educational problems, predict development education future.
